This is a translation provided for convenience. The Spanish version is the legally binding one.
1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected on this website is Jorge Mauricio Montoya, an independent professional working under the MJM Code Lab brand, based in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. For any question about your data, write to mjmcodelab@gmail.com.
2. What data I collect
- Contact form: name, email, company (optional), project type and your message.
- Technical data: your IP address and technical browser signals are processed transiently to protect the form from spam and abuse (rate limiting and Cloudflare Turnstile). I do not use them to identify you.
- Visit statistics: when enabled, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying individuals.
- Theme preference: if you choose light or dark mode, the preference is stored only in your browser (local storage) and is not sent to any server.
I do not ask for sensitive data. Please do not include it in your message.
3. Why I use it
I use your data only to reply to your inquiry and, if we work together, to manage our business relationship (proposals, quotes and invoicing). I do not send marketing, and I do not sell or share your data with third parties.
4. Consent
By ticking the box on the form you give your free, express and informed consent to the processing of your data for these purposes. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to the email above.
5. Service providers and international transfers
- Vercel Inc. (United States): hosting of the site and the form. Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): spam protection (Turnstile) and statistics.
- Resend (United States): delivery of the email with your inquiry.
- Google LLC (United States), through Gmail: receiving and storing messages.
These providers may store or process data outside Argentina. By submitting the form you expressly consent to that transfer, under Article 12 of Law 25,326.
6. Retention
Inquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. If we work together, I keep the necessary data for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by tax regulations.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction, update or deletion of your data by writing to mjmcodelab@gmail.com. Access requests are answered within 10 calendar days, and correction, update or deletion requests within 5 business days, under Articles 14 and 16 of Law 25,326.
The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, under Article 14(3) of Law 25,326. The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), as the supervisory authority under Law 25,326, handles complaints from anyone whose data protection rights have been affected.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, the form validates and sanitizes data on the server, and access to received messages is restricted.
9. Cookies
This site does not use its own tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical cookies for security.
10. Children
This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. I do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes
If I change this policy, I will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
